April Sermon Series: Join us Sunday Online

At some point in our lives, we will feel hopeless. We will have nowhere else to turn. There will be nothing else we can do. Our world will feel dark. The shadows will close in. We will all reach a point when our questions, doubt and unbelief cannot be held at bay. But then…Jesus.

Light will break through. A new word will be spoken. A new breath of life will fill our lungs. The skies will clear and there will be new dreams on the horizon. This is the good news of Jesus. There is always more to come. That is our hope. God is not finished with us. He’s still restoring. He’s still at work. And so we say with the author of Hebrews, “Let us hold unwaveringly to the hope that we confess, for the One who made the promise is trustworthy.”

During the month of April we will lean into the truth that Hope Will Rise.

Service this Sunday will be online only. Watch on our website: www.onelifechurch.tv/live.

Virtual Book Clubs: Starting Soon

We are starting virtual book clubs in the next few weeks. It’s another opportunity we have to experience fellowship while respecting physical social distancing. Amy Newman will be facilitating a group for women using the book Shalom Sistas, and Daniel Hodges will be leading a group through the book Kill The Spider.

Webinar: Talking to Your Kids About COVID-19
As parents, we have to answer hard questions from our kids about really tough topics: religion, sex, relationships and now COVID-19. These conversations can be difficult to navigate. We held a webinar earlier this week that offers some insights and tools that will help you have these conversations with your kids. To watch a replay of this hour-long event, visit our YouTube page.
Easter Service Online: April 12
The resurrection of Jesus is a story that transforms our stories. From despair to joy. From fear to hope. From guilt to grace. From death to life. Join us Easter Sunday at OneLifeChurch.tv/Live for a family-friendly service as we celebrate our hope that is found in Christ alone.

Invite a neighbor, co-worker, friend or family member by sharing this Facebook event with them.

One Life Care Groups
At One Life, we value church as family. During this season of disconnection and social distancing, we are starting something called Care Groups. We have started 11 groups and placed each One Life family member (family unit) in a group. Your Care Group leader will be reaching out to you soon. They want to check on you, see if you’re healthy, if you need anything, how they can pray for you and they will ask what God is teaching you. The plan is for them to connect with you by phone or text one time a week. We are hoping this helps us fight the lies of isolation and reminds us that we are loved by our church family.

If you have any questions please email us at info@onelifechurch.tv.
