The Path To Belonging

We get it…joining a new church and even being part of a church family can be complicated. That’s why we have created a Path to Belonging that will help you navigate the necessary steps along the way. The Path to Belonging will take you from the moment you explore One Life Church online to becoming a fully integrated member of the church family. We encourage you to take your time. We’ve purposefully extended the on ramp in order to give you time to discern if this is the right place for you and what it means for you to be part of the OLC family.

The Path of Belonging doesn’t end when you join OLC. This is a journey that continues as we learn to walk alongside of one another and as we invite others to join us on the path.

Why do we call it a Path to Belonging?

The sense of belonging is one of humanity's most basic needs. Joining a church can help fulfill the basic need to belong both to God and to a group of people. The path is meant to be walked slowly and deliberately. There’s no rush. There’s something to be learned, enjoyed and experienced at every step on the path. Our hope and prayer is that this path will help you get to know the OLC family as you decide if this will be the place where you set down roots.

Although there is a linear element to this path we recognize that some of the steps will overlap and happen in a different order. That’s ok. We understand that everyone is in a different place when they enter the path, but all are headed in the same direction.

Most of all we invite you to walk with us as we learn the unforced rhythms of grace that make up a life of discipleship with Christ.

In January we asked everyone to fill out a survey about the 7 Spiritual Rhythms we practice together in community each Sunday morning. The response was incredible! It helped the leadership of OLC see where we are strong and where there are opportunities for growth in our discipleship process and plan.

It’s now time for a follow-up to the initial survey. But this time it’s going to be a little different.

Our goal is to organize a Spiritual Rhythms Trial Group of 30 individuals that we will survey over the next 2 years and see if, in fact, what we do on Sunday morning does motivate, inspire, and equip our church to practice the 7 Spiritual Rhythms in their everyday lives.

Here’s what you would be agreeing to:

1. You would include your name when filling out the survey

2. You’ll be honest when answering the questions

3. You will fill out a survey every 3 months during the first year and every 6 months during the second year.

We believe this process will help you grow in your relationship with Jesus as you evaluate yourself throughout the process and it will help our leadership team know if our spiritual formation strategy is effective.

This isn’t a pass-or-fail test. This is a process of seeing if what we do on Sunday mornings has a direct effect on our everyday lives as we learn to follow Jesus. This Months Teaching Series

God has a mission of restoration and reconciliation. As the Church, we have be invited to participate with his mission by engaging with and investing in the world around us.

Join us for our upcoming sermon series, 'No More Fences,' where we explore breaking down barriers that separate us from loving our neighbors. Discover the art of neighboring and blessing in a world that often builds walls.

Let's make much of Jesus in our neighborhoods, work places, and social circles so that all people will be drawn to him.

Men’s Breakfast

Big news! Our Men's Breakfast is making a comeback this April! Circle the last Saturday of each month on your calendar, April 27th.

We'll be gathering at OneLife Church at 8:30 AM for a delicious breakfast. Just bring yourself, and we'll take care of the rest.

Summer Jam

Summer Jam is right around the corner on Monday, July 29th - Thursday, August 1st Each night we will meet from 6:30-8:30pm.

The theme this year is "Start the Party": Jesus gives us the most amazing reason to party. That’s why we believe God’s love and the Gospel of Jesus is the best news ever.

Start the Party curriculum teaches kids about: Friendship, Belonging, Forgiveness, Abundant life, and Purpose.
